Heralded as a national treasure in Japan, chef Jiro Ono was the first sushi chef to receive three Michelin stars. His famed restaurant, located in a basement attached to the Ginza metro station, is often touted as serving the world's best sushi and rightfully so. There's one menu, consisting of roughly 20 pieces of sushi made from a quality of seafood that can only be found at Tsukihi market. With only 10 seats, it's very difficult to get a reservation so plan well in advance.
