Not your typical art museum, Tucson’s downtown art center is housed in a cluster of five historic adobe buildings that are joined by walkways. Exhibits range from the predictable, such as Latin American art, to the unexpected, such as rock ’n’ roll photography and treasures from East Asia. The museum’s café, Café á la C’art, offers some of the best, most authentic Southwestern cuisine in town, so plan your visit around lunch.
