A night in this beautiful, secluded lakeside spot is sure to restore (if you can’t stay, day spa packages are available). In addition to a host of spa treatments (including Thai massage, cranio-sacral therapy, energy balance with healing sound and seven centers of life Chakra massage), yoga classes and kayak and paddleboarding lessons, foodies will love the spa’s Culinary Experience: for a week each month, the spa offers cooking classes from celebrity chefs that might include anything from a study of fresh herbs, hands on sushi and spring roll demos to a boat ride, hike, and breakfast cookout. Stroll through the spa’s lovely, impossibly fragrant culinary herb garden (featuring about 15 varieties of sage) and run your fingers through the lavender and rosemary—best aromatherapy you’ll experience all year.
