A hip restaurant in Buffalo’s bustling downtown, Bacchus is at heart a wine bar offering a collection of more than 200 bottles—all available by the glass—as well as an eclectic menu. Looking for just a nibble? Try one of the small plates—such as Carpaccio of sirloin with egg crostini, arugula, Reggiano, and truffle oil; tuna tartare with cucumber jalapeño, Asian guacamole, and wonton chips; or fried brie—that don’t sacrifice flavor for size. Or go for something a bit more substantial, say lamb chops, filet mignon or ahi tuna.
