Cancun isn’t exactly known for culinary greatness. If you’re looking for one special meal outside of your all-inclusive plan, go for Ramona at the new luxury property NIZUC on the south end of town. Chef Bladimir Garcia’s modernist take on Mexican cuisine is both artful and delicious. The pressed lobster (with tomato caviar and dry pepper caviar) and veal marinated in achiote, lime and sugar cane served in a tortilla with Manchego and topped with a hibiscus reduction are just a few of the many showstoppers.
