Take an audio tour through the Dallas Holocaust Museum—it’s one of the most powerful ways to learn about the tragic historical events of World War II. The museum is currently in a transitional period while a new museum is built in the West End district, but it continues to host captivating exhibitions for the time being. Depending on your level of interest, you could spend 30 minutes to two hours exploring the museums artifacts and images. If your kids are tagging along, definitely bring them to show them an important time in our history so that it doesn’t repeat. Over the last year, the museum played host to more than 40,000 students and about 15,000 walk-in visitors.
