Located on a 90-acre Florida nature preserve, the 100,000-square-foot Museum of Arts & Sciences is host to more than 30,000 objects of art from around the world. Highlights from this Smithsonian affiliate include the finest collection of pre-Revolutionary Cuban art outside of the island nation, a children’s science center, the most complete skeleton of a Giant Ground Sloth found in North America, the largest private collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia, a Napoleonic collection, a planetarium, a nature preserve and much more. The museum’s latest addition is a visible glass-fronted, open storage area that stores and displays important works from the museum’s collection.
