Even if you’re not a (Iowa) Cubs fan, a ball game at Principal Park is a must. Both family and wallet friendly, it’s a great atmosphere for kids and adults (and close to a few favorite watering holes for the latter, see High Life Lounge in our Nightlife picks). And if by chance you are a Cubs fan, you might see the next Kerry Wood get his start, or a major leaguer work his way off the DL. In fact, part of Wood’s rehab during the 2005 season took place at Principal Park. You never know who could suit up at this field.
