Open since 1981, the museum is an ode to Gerald and Betty Ford, who spent the majority of their years living in Grand Rapids. While rich in history about former President Ford’s political career, there are also permanent exhibits (hands-on, video, interactive and holographic) devoted to 1970s pop culture and Watergate.
