Jackson Hole’s sexiest dining spot is actually found outside the “hole” altogether—it’s 9,095 feet up, at the top of the gondola at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (where free gondola rides begin at 4:30 p.m.). Couloir has a sleek, contemporary interior with cowhide barstools, exposed ductwork and a minimalist deck with a jaw-dropping view of the valley. Nightly prix-fixe menus are creative and fun, with signature dishes that include a superb applewood-smoked bison tenderloin. Regionally sourced ingredients abound.
