Every town has one truly hip shoe store that you just have to visit on every trip, and Knoxville’s is Sole in the City, tucked into upscale Cherokee Plaza, a trendy shopping district in Bearden, a western suburb of Knoxville. They carry all the great high-end brands: Kate Spade, Cole Haan, Stuart Weitzman, but plenty of more affordable—yet gorgeous—Italian and Spanish brands you may not have heard of as well.
