From Renzo Rossi, the creative force behind the Diesel brand, comes this slick restaurant and lounge that aims at closing the gap between business and personal life. Throw pillows, exposed brick walls, comfy sofas, plants and some 8,000 lamps hanging over the bar give the space a warm glow. Come in the morning or at lunchtime and you’ll find Armani-dressed, Blackberry toting business men and women reading their papers over strong coffee, housemade pastries and pastas. The fun really begins at 6 p.m. when the aperitivo crowd rolls in for wines produced by the Diesel Farm and finger food prepared with panache by chef Diego Macchi. Cooler-than-thou DJs spin groovy tunes well into the night.
