This old-fashioned trattoria is a favorite among the city’s well-heeled movers and shakers (particularly from the fashion industry), but it’s surprisingly an unpretentious, comfortable bistro with undeniably delicious Tuscan fare. There’s a strong lean toward fresh seafood dishes, such as the gnocchi da Giacomo (soft pillowy gnocchi with a savory seafood and tomato sauce). You won’t be able to pass up the homemade sweets once the famed dessert cart rolls by, so be sure to save room.
