This little zoo is the only one in the Bahamas, and while it may come up short compared to, say, the San Diego Zoo, it’s still worth a stop to see its famous flamingos marching in unison, three times daily. You’ll also see jaguars, monkeys, lemurs and of course the lush, tropical gardens. Don’t miss feeding the small lory parrots—and maybe getting a picture getting smooched by one of them (if that’s your thing).
