The formal restaurant of the stately Graycliff Hotel is across the street from Government House downtown, in a hillside colonial mansion that dates back to the 1740s. This is the place to come for a special occasion, situated away from Nassau’s sprawling luxury resorts. The food here is French-leaning (specialties include the Kobe beef and Nassau grouper). Served with a flourish by the restaurant’s white-jacketed waitstaff, and the wine cellar includes more than 200,000 bottles.
