To get a true taste of Bahamian local food, head to Nassau Street, about a quarter mile past the stoplight, to this spot that has no street number and not much ambiance, but does have a mean boiled grouper with johnnycake and okra soup with cracked conch. The prices are reasonable, too. Go for breakfast or lunch.
