Settled on just 14 acres, the Seneca Park Zoo is home to more than 300 animals. While its size pales in comparison to other zoos in the state, Seneca Park packs a lot of learning and observing into its small space. Established in 1892, the zoo is home to elephants, tigers, wolves, orangutans and kangaroos, plus a number of exhibits including the Rocky Coasts exhibit. Dedicated to animals of the North and South poles, this special exhibit includes penguins, sea lions, polar bears and caribou in their natural habitat.
