With 42 acres of rolling hills and a forest that houses hundreds of animals, it’s no wonder the Hogle Zoo is one of Salt Lake City’s most popular attractions. Not only does this zoo have a rich history—the land was donated more than a century ago by Mr. and Mrs. James Hogle—it’s also located near another popular site, the Emigration Canyon. Visit cool habitats such as the Asian Highlands and Elephant Encounter and, of course, partake in the numerous activities for the kiddies.
