What to Pack

Salt Lake has four separate seasons, so plan accordingly: In the winter you can expect above freezing temperatures during the day before it gets really cold after dusk, so be sure to bring your fleece and bundle up, especially if you’ll be skiing or checking out its snow-covered mountains. Spring is usually nice enough for a round of golf in the valley and some skiing in the mountains, so bring your active wear for both. Summer is usually warm, dry and sunny with low humidity; shorts, T-shirts and sandals are all a must. Finally, pack your light jackets for fall as the cooler temperatures start rolling back in.
