Chef Alex Atala’s famed Jardins restaurant has become a shining beacon of Brazilian possibility. After swearing off non-Brazilian ingredients and focusing on the rare and diverse flavors found within the country, D.O.M. has steadily climbed the rankings of San Pellegrino’s World's 50 Best Restaurants list, making it to No. 6 in 2013. The pricey tasting menus and wine list have not kept patrons away, as landing a reservation can be quite difficult.
