Located on the sixth floor of the stunning Chartered Bank building on the Bund, the contemporary black and red restaurant has a clubby, yet unpretentious vibe, with great views of Pudong. Chef Paul Pairet’s modern French cuisine is playful, with a variety of international flavor profiles—and there’s lots of it, with a menu of more than 100 dishes. Some of the most talked-about dishes are the foie gras crumble, teriyaki glazed long short ribs with an orange reduction and a lemon tart served inside of a candied whole lemon.
