A local favorite for no-frills on-tap beer, hearty French onion soup, burgers and fries, The Onion is an unfaltering Northwest tradition. The ancient oak back bar was built in 1904 and still remains as elegant as it was at the turn of the century. In addition to the back bar, a restored 1937 Harley Davidson motorcycle is parked on display for no particular reason other than for diners to marvel at its reestablished beauty. The Onion may not be the chicest watering hole, but it’s comfortable and delicious at the same time.
