Once an old warehouse district known as Barrio San Antonio, this three-block area has been restored to house a network of themed shops and galleries specializing in antiques, handmade furniture, art, rugs, folk arts and crafts, and imports from around the world. Southwestern furniture and home décor and Mexican imports dominate, but there are also antiques, Chinese imports and local handicrafts, and the prices are very reasonable. Frequented by interior decorators and not well known even to locals, it’s a tad tricky to find, but well worth the hunt. Look for the colorful tiles and murals and splashing fountains and you’ll know you’re there.
