Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard opened this highly acclaimed West Loop restaurant in 2010, and it’s been packed ever since. At Girl & the Goat, the menu is divided into vegetables, meat and fish, each with creative Mediterranean-meets-Midwest dishes. It may be tough to get in, but her kampachi crudo with crispy pork belly, grilled octopus with guanciale and celery root, and the perfectly braised beef tongue are worth the wait.
