Some days at Marble Springs, you can watch Civil War soldiers fire authentic muskets, while on others more peaceful activities like weaving and blacksmithing are being demonstrated. But no matter the occasion, this historic farm is the perfect place to see rural Southern life in action with all its challenges and rewards. One of the most popular activities in Knoxville for families, Marble Springs is like a history lesson come alive, with plenty of chances for kids to get into the action. A new farmers market is now held at Marble Springs on Thursday afternoons from 3 to 6 p.m.
