Lakeshore State Park is the result of a restoration project completed in 2007. Tucked behind the Summerfest grounds, Milwaukee Art Museum and Discovery World, and along Lake Michigan, the park’s urban setting spreads across 22 acres includes a pedestrian foot-bridge, paved walking path and lakeshore views that entice dog walkers, bicyclists, runners and casual strollers. Bicycle rentals are available in nearby Veterans Park.
