This pint-size bistro in Paris’ seventh arrondissement serves fantastic Basque and French cuisine. Although the lively spot has been around since the 1930s, celebrated chef Stephane Jego revived the menu and turned it into a culinary destination when he took over nearly a decade ago. The portions are hearty and the market-driven dishes tend to be on the rich side (expect lots of foie gras and chorizo), so arrive hungry. It’d be a sin to forgo the famous old-fashioned rice pudding with salted butter caramel.
