The Arizona Biltmore, the 1920s “Jewel of the Desert” hotel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and Albert Chase McArthur, marked its 80th anniversary in 2009 with the opening of Frank & Albert’s, an excellent restaurant featuring local organic ingredients crafted into Arizona comfort food and American classics. Frank & Albert’s executive chef Todd Sicolo uses only produce from Arizona’s best farms and growers (including the Biltmore’s own organic garden). The restaurant’s “Blue Plate Specials” are easily sharable dishes that include innovative takes on the BLT, mac ’n’ cheese, Monte Cristo and pulled short ribs.
