The views of the Sonoran Desert from the dining room at Talavera are some of the best in the valley, while the menu offers prime meat, poultry and game from the area’s boutique farmers and purveyors (the kitchen here also turns out delicious, fresh seafood). Chef Mel Mecinas offers tableside preparation of appetizers to desserts, and cocktails here are superb, with an international wine list, premium Russian vodka and Mexican tequila.
