Praguecity of many spires

The Czechs may be famous for brewing beer, but no Czech brewery is nearly as famous as U Fleků, which has been regularly turning out a stellar black beer in the same location since the year 1499. Rich with chocolate and notes of roast coffee, Fleků lager is an inspiration to beer lovers around the world, and it is only available at this ancient brewpub not far from metro station Národní Třída. Given the history, it’s understandable that the atmosphere can sometimes feel a bit touristic, but the hearty, meat-and-potatoes Czech fare remains true to its tavern origins, while the pub—and its beer—is a beloved touchstone for fans of Czech beer today.
