Gearheads and history buffs, unite! More than 150 vehicles—including race cars, muscle cars, hot rods, luxury cars and antiques—are on display at the California Auto Museum. From an 1885 high-wheeler bicycle to a 2007 BMW Hydrogen 7 and everything in between, children and adults will be captivated by the auto collection. A monthly rotating exhibit showcases regional car clubs and their vehicles. Other special exhibits throughout the year highlight the history and products of specific automakers, such as Porche, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and more. Keep in mind: the museum is a warehouse-style building that is not climate controlled, so dress accordingly for summer and winter weather.
