For scenic photo ops, take a stroll around the Presidio for a couple hours. The architecture of the Presidio shows its roots as a Spanish military outpost that was established in 1776. Throughout the next 200+ years, three different nations controlled the area. In 1994, it became part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
